Our Story
MAKRIS takes its name from the ancient name of Corfu, where the restaurant started its culinary journey in 2018, at Domes Miramare, a Luxury Collection Resort. It continued its award-winning journey in other destinations and resorts of Domes and now it has found its place in Athens, in a historic building of Thisio, opposite the ancient market and the Acropolis.
Domes, wishing to offer its guests luxury, authenticity and fine dining, has created and invested in a destination that innately highlights the historical heritage and culture of Greece. We welcome you to MAKRIS Athens to enjoy a multidimensional mosaic of flavors and history.
